Video Conferencing

Education Video Conferencing

The global Covid-19 pandemic has only further accelerated what was already taking place, the need for an education organisation’s to be equipped with video conferencing capabilities to engage students in activities, experiences, and knowledge that they cannot gain with the boundaries of its school.

Access to a real-life tour, Q&A with the author of a book they’re currently reading, speaking to students in a classroom overseas to practice each other’s language – are only a few of the many examples that showcase the impact of video conferencing solutions.

Education AV Video Conference Solutions

K2AV is one of the only AV providers who works in schools and education, while also doing high-end Tier 1 corporate installations. With internationally CTS certified engineers.

This means we are on the frontline of audio visual and conferencing solutions. Using our knowledge in the corporate world and deploying it for education organisations.

We’ve developed innovative solutions that have set the benchmark for WA schools, playing an integral role in the design of future new build classrooms.

Projectors

Projecting a 94” image, suitable for standard classrooms, the interactive projectors turn a standard whiteboard into an iPad. Finger touch and the use of styluses (provided) allows teachers and students to interact with content presented from any device – even wirelessly.

The interactive projector is 3,300 lumens in brightness using the 3LCD engine and wall-mounted above a standard whiteboard – this means no bright lights in the eye of the presenter, no shadows on the image, and allowing your lesson to be viewed from anywhere in the classroom, even with the classroom lights on.

Like a big smartphone on the wall. Run an entire lesson by the touch of your finger, and up to 20 point touch simultaneously. With 4K ultra high-definition resolution, an interactive screen can transform teaching and learning by facilitating collaboration in ways that aren’t possible otherwise.

Having a sleek, quality built interactive screen installed in a classroom space adds value to your school and provides a minimalist look. With a built-in operation system like Android, there is no need to plug in a computer, or even a cable. Share, touch, save, and connect with others around the world.

With options of wall mount and portable solutions, interactive screens are a flexible interactive solution designed to suit any teaching environment.

Collaborative learning is enhanced with the introduction of technology in the classroom, particularly with the growth of STEAM-based education.

A range of custom-designed collaborative learning areas have been created to allow the one space to have multiple uses. Meaning a classroom can be split into different types of learners. Focus on smaller groups at one time and have them problem solve and work together on every day activities. Allowing educators to provide a more focused and tailored experience for students to learn at their own pace.

Combining this solution with an observation room allows schools to get a real time look into what’s taking place, provide feedback, and gain insightful knowledge on how their students are learning and their educators are teaching.

Depending on the classroom, and the requirements – today’s conferencing solutions can be as simple as an all-in-one sound bar that functions as a speaker, microphone, camera, and produces the highest quality video conferencing experience. Cost-effective for all budgets.

To a more advanced integrated solution with independent microphone, camera, and control system – which can allow designated zones in a classroom for student/teacher feedback, and much more.

With large venue projection becoming extremely cost-effective over the past few years – these larger presentations spaces such as undercover assembly areas, performing arts centres, auditoriums, and lecture theatres has become one of the most activated areas in terms of audio visual solutions.

Typically a large motorised projection screen (up to 20m in width), a bright cinematic large venue projector (up to 20,000 lumens of brightness), and a touch-screen controller (typically 7” LCD) that at the touch of an icon will control all items in the space so even the most technologically resistant person can walk in and operate the system.

Investing in these larger venues has been on the rise and a custom solution will be designed for your space at a price-tag that is a lot more affordable today than you may anticipate.
