A project long time in the making. The upgrade of Town of Victoria Park’s council chambers that are frequently used with audio visual systems that have not been addressed or upgraded for many years. Complete consulting, design was undertaken to suggest the most suitable and frontline solution for this pivotal space. With subsequent tender awarded for fit-out of audio visual for entire council chambers. First in WA, Bosch Dicentis voting and discussion system. Allowing each party to speak, vote on each motion, and display to the audience/executive party using the 2 x back to back commercial displays. 14 x low profile speakers allow consistent audio throughout the chambers, which is fully flexible and controllable, with all other items using a Kramer 7″ LCD touch panel.

WA Council of Social Services (WACOSS)
A pivotal not-for-profit organisation assisting in developing an inclusive and equitable society. A refresh of its facility to allow for their services to cross the confines of its physical premises was required. Conferencing solutions deployed in the larger boardroom space using a dual pendant microphone, PTZ camera, and echo-cancellation conferencing hub. And the newly released, at the time, Polycom studio sound bar with wireless presentation using Barco’s clickshare device was deployed in the smaller spaces. Fully automated with custom software & control.
Conferencing Upgrade of Entire Facility
City of Cockburn
The City of Cockburn approached K2AV to design and construct the first of a larger roll-out plan across multiple meeting rooms. This is the first of many. The system was designed to ensure any user, whether from the city or outside visitors could walk in and at the touch of a few buttons operate the entire system without training. Using a 7” LCD Touch Control Panel any visitor can simply walk in, and either wirelessly or via HDMI connect to either of the Dual TV Screens or the larger projection screen to display seamless audio, video and presentations. With a fully customisable control system developed by K2AV the client was able to make changes, improvements and innovate at their own will without being tied into long-winded control programming contracts which limited used flexibility in the past.

City of Wanneroo
The upgrade of an iconic building, the City of Wanneroo council premises – with the aim to maintain the original architectural feel while providing a modern look with modern workplaces. The audio visual was designed to match – with 25+ quick access meeting rooms with a simple display, touch-button controller, wireless presentation, and platform-independent video conferencing driven by a Full HD PTZ camera and ceiling microphones. Staff were able to get in and out of meetings quicker with better outcomes. The larger meeting spaces housed interactive solutions for more detailed discussion, and the council presentation space housing 3 linked motorised displays for staff-wide meetings, and the ability to make them standalone displays for smaller presentations. A seamless experience with each meeting space identical in terms of operation, placement, and feel to minimise the setup time for staff.
